Florida Medical Center’s Sunshine Award recognizes support personnel who have provided exceptional care and service to patients. Support staff at Florida Medical Center — such as transportation aides, visual observation staff, unit assistants, unit clerks, housekeepers, nursing assistants, or others — can be nominated for the Sunshine Award.
Nominations may be submitted by patients, families, and colleagues. Recipients will be chosen by a committee at Florida Medical Center and will be honored with the Sunshine Award quarterly throughout the year. Each honoree receives a certificate recognizing her or him as an exceptional caregiver, and a basket filled with goodies.
