If you need a joint replacement, you want to be in the hands of experienced and caring surgeons. The Joint Replacement Program at Florida Medical Center earned the Gold Seal certification by The Joint Commission for hip and knee replacements. The Joint Commission granted this certification based on our positive outcomes, infection control practices, and team approach to patient care.
The Joint Replacement Program team will prepare you for surgery and pain management, prior to and after surgery, as well as recovery outside of the hospital. Our goal is to help you regain mobility as quickly and painlessly as possible. This approach consistently leads to:
- Better outcomes
- Shorter hospital stays
- Faster recovery
- Less pain
At Florida Medical Center your Joint Replacement Patient Navigator will guide you through your joint replacement surgery as soon as you enter the hospital for surgery.
Please call Liane Hernandez, Joint Replacement Program patient navigator at 954-735-6000 ext. 6000 for more information about the Joint Replacement Program at Florida Medical Center.
New Surgical Suites
We have recently finished remodeling our brand new Specialty Surgical Suites, giving us the ability to provide you a private room with a VIP experience.
As a patient, it’s important to know that our orthopedic surgeons will first try to develop non-surgical solutions to address your needs. If surgery does turn out to be necessary, our orthopedic surgeons and staff will educate you on the procedure and the recovery process. As you attend Joint Class, you will be thoroughly educated about what to expect before, during, and after surgery.
